It's a case of good news/bad news/tentatively good news here...

The good news is that both of our acute COVID situations cleared up and ended happily (eventually).

The bad news is that that was only the beginning of the horribleness.

The last three months have been bad, folks. Really, really bad.

However. The tentatively good news is that the immediately horribleness seems to be over for the time being (knock on wood). It's going to take a couple of weeks to deal with the aftermath and get caught up on everything. But after that, we're hoping to be able to get back to smutting things up around here.

Apologies again for the long silence, but it really has been unavoidable. We do hope to be back soon.

ETA: There's a very brief summary of the "really, really bad" from r_grayjoy's end of things in the comments, for those who are curious.

We're terribly sorry for the delays. We have a lot of things halfway put together, but a vast array of terrible things keep happening. Currently, one of us has someone in the hospital with COVID, and the other one of us has someone at home with probable COVID (test results pending). 2020 is clearly spilling over into 2021.

We definitely haven't forgotten about the comm here, but we've been too busy surviving to accomplish much of anything else. We're very much hoping for a change of fortune soon... In any case, we'll at least try to do a better job of keeping everyone updated on when we can expect to be back on top of things again.

Take care of yourselves, dear Deviants, and keep watching the comm. We'll be back as soon as we're able.
